The spheres are an integral part of our valves

Floats and accessories are coherently matched to each valve in order to guarantee their best and most correct functioning. ST has always produced plastic floats which, depending on the size of the valve and the operating lever used, have different anchoring systems such as the threaded brass inserts for round rods or the sliding attachment for flat rods.

The plastic balls are made of PEHD5502 high density polyethylene and are produced using blow molding machines. Furthermore, depending on the model, they are sealed by means of ultrasound or with the insertion of the previously heated brass threaded insert.

The plastics processing department has extrusion-blow molding and injection machines with an annual capacity of 800,000 plastic spheres
